Description

The Description block displays the product description on the product page. This content is pulled directly from the product's description field in the Shopify admin and serves as the primary space for merchants to communicate product details, features, benefits, and any other relevant information to customers.

The description supports rich text, meaning it can include formatted content such as headings, bold or italic text, bullet points, numbered lists, and hyperlinks.

Notes

  • The content displayed in this block is managed entirely from the product's detail page in the Shopify admin, not from the theme editor.
  • Rich text formatting applied in the Shopify admin (headings, lists, links, etc.) is preserved and rendered as-is on the storefront.
  • If no description has been added to the product in the Shopify admin, the block will render empty.
  • Only one Description block is allowed per section (limit: 1 ).
