Inventory status

The Inventory Status block displays the current stock availability of a product or variant on the product page. It informs customers whether a product is in stock, low in stock, or out of stock, helping set expectations before adding to cart.

The displayed status updates automatically when a customer switches between variants, always reflecting the inventory level of the currently selected variant.

Notes

  • Inventory tracking must be enabled for the product in the Shopify admin for this block to display accurate information.
  • If inventory tracking is disabled for a product, the block will not display any status.
  • Low stock threshold and status labels may vary depending on the theme configuration.
  • Only one Inventory Status block is allowed per section (limit: 1 ).
